SWEEP AUGERS
The TSB Industrial sweep auger, designed by Silos Córdoba, is optimized for the efficient emptying of flat-bottom silos, preserving grain integrity for daily use year-round.
Made from galvanized steel sheets of S350GD or S450GD with Z-600 metal coating, this sweep auger offers increased durability and strength, ensuring seamless operation with a wide range of grains, seeds, legumes, and pellets.
HEAD SECTION
The electric motor is vertically positioned on the rotational axis, transferring motion to the continuous thread.
This configuration eliminates the necessity for traditional transmission systems such as chains or belts, minimizing wear, heat emission, and the risk of sparks. The motor and right-angle gearbox are enclosed within protective housing.
INTERMEDIATE SECTIONS
The design of the intermediate sections aims to reduce the leftover weight of grain post-gravity unloading, easing the initiation of the machine.
Furthermore, these sections incorporate windows for flow control and are reinforced with stiffeners to enhance resistance against torsional stress.
TAIL SECTION
The wheel in the tail section is driven by surplus torque delivered to the auger.
