“Cordobeses of the Year” recognizes the work of companies that have excelled in their work throughout 2013. One such company is Silos Córdoba, which began operating in 1975 and despite the economic crisis continues to grow.
In the Cordoba Journal interview, Juan López Regalón explains that there is no single secret to success in exporting, but “the secret is to work, have a clear strategic plan and know where your niche market is.”
He also explains that Silos Córdoba was born as a livestock equipment company and now offers a wider range of products, aiming to become a reference as integrated solutions provider for grain handling, drying and storage. The countries that require this type of products are developing countries with a strong agriculture, such as Russia, the new countries of Europe, Latin America, North Africa and Asia.
And a tip for entrepreneurs so they can set up their businesses and succeed:
“Working on what they like and do so with great enthusiasm and dedicating as much time as possible.”
