The grain silos we are erecting in Kazakhstan are already on Google Earth. It’s a turnkey Project in the port of Aktau.
World’s largest steel silo plant for oil extraction industry is currently at an advanced erection stage in Iran. The Port facility, for the storage of soya bean, corn and wheat will be equipped with 48 Flat bottom silo 24.45/17 (8 rows 6 silos each), with a unitary capacity of 10.204,00 m3.
Most often, the value of the grain (in dollars-per-tonne) is usually greater than the cost of the structure in which it is stored. Minor expenditure in improving the quality of the storage can thus be quickly recovered if commodity losses are commensurably reduced.
Bag silos are a cheap solution for grain storage but its use has some limitations and disadvantages over the storage in steel silos: Steel silos keep the grains safe longer, have greater storage capacity in a much smaller area, are recommended to store high moisture grains, avoid humidity problems and are easier to unload.
